The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently concluded its “Noor Saudi Arabia” volunteer project aimed at combating blindness and eye-related diseases on Zanzibar Island, Tanzania. This initiative took place from April 29 to May 6, 2025, marking a significant humanitarian effort to address pressing health concerns in the region.

During the campaign, the volunteer medical team from the center examined a total of 3,005 individuals. In addition to providing eye examinations, they distributed 426 pairs of prescription glasses and delivered essential medications to 1,184 patients.
