In a significant event aimed at enhancing social welfare and economic development in the Qassim region, His Excellency Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, oversaw the signing of nine agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs). These agreements were made between the ministry and various key strategic partners, including the Social Development Bank, the Orphan Care Charity Foundation “Ikha,” the Qassim Chamber of Commerce, the Qassim Municipality, Al-Rajhi University, the Al-Rass Chamber, the Management and Development Resources Company “Itmal,” the Abdulaziz Al-Auhali Community Development Foundation, and the Family Welfare and Marriage Charity in Buraidah, known as “Usra.”

This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster integration and development within the labor market, enhance the quality of life, and empower various beneficiary groups. The agreements focus on skill development programs, job placement opportunities, and support for innovative entrepreneurs.

During the event, Al-Rajhi delivered residential units to self-sufficient orphans and honored the academic achievements of exceptional orphans. This recognition aims to inspire and support orphaned youth, underscoring the ministry’s commitment to their welfare and integration into society.

Moreover, Al-Rajhi held a meeting with Ali bin Suleiman Al-Muqbel, the President of the Qassim Chamber, along with a group of male and female entrepreneurs. They discussed strategies to improve the work environment, stimulate investment in national workforce capabilities, and create high-quality job opportunities. In the course of his visit, Al-Rajhi also inspected the work of the Unayzah Charity Association for Development and Human Services.
