Defense Minister Meets with US National Security Advisor in High-Level Meeting
Prince Khalid bin Salman, the Saudi Defense Minister, met with U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Waltz at the White House in Washington, D.C. They discussed various aspects of the Saudi-U.S. strategic relationship, opportunities for cooperation, and ways to enhance it. The two also talked about the efforts of both countries to bring peace to the region and the world, in addition to addressing several issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Prince Yazid bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Farhan, an adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on Lebanese affairs, Khalid bin Fareed Hadrawi, a royal court adviser, Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, and Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, the Director-General of the Defense Minister’s office.
On the American side, Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Middle East and North Africa Affairs Coordinator at the National Security Council Eric Trager were present at the meeting.
