King Salman Center for Relief launches Ramadan food basket distribution project in Mauritania, Tajikistan, and Guinea.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid launched the “Food Basket” project for Ramadan in Mauritania for the year 1446 AH, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Rukabi, and the Minister of Food Security of Mauritania, Fatima bint Mahfouz Ould Khatry.

The project aims to distribute 7,352 food baskets containing essential food items to benefit 44,112 individuals in Mauritania.

In addition, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid launched the Ramadan “Food Basket” distribution project in Tajikistan for the year 1446 AH, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Tajikistan, Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Rushaidan, and the Secretary-General of the Tajik Red Crescent Society, Bahodur Korbon Niyon, along with a team from the center.

The project aims to distribute 7,120 food baskets containing essential food items to benefit 35,000 individuals from the most vulnerable groups in areas such as Dushanbe, Kulob, Baljuvon, Vose, Rasht, Shahrinav, and Fyofon.

Furthermore, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid launched the Ramadan “Food Basket” project in Guinea for the year 1446 AH, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Guinea, Dr. Fahad bin Eid Al-Rashidi, the National Director of Islamic Affairs in the General Secretariat, Dr. Suleiman Sidi Beih, the General Supervisor of Preachers at the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Guinea, Dr. Mohammed Al-Amin Doukoure, the National Director of Non-Governmental Organizations, Sheikh Sharaf al-Din Fadiga, and a team from the center.

The project aims to distribute 7,500 food baskets, each weighing 60 kg per family, containing essential food items such as rice, oil, and sugar, benefiting 45,000 individuals in cities like Conakry, Dabola, Mamou, Kankan, and Nzerekore.

These initiatives are part of the relief and humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom through the center to assist countries in need and ensure food security for them.
